Pigtails consist of a 1.5m length of 900um buffered fibre with a pre terminated connector at one end. Pigtails are used in Fibre Optic Termination Panels or ODFs (Optical Distribution Frames). The pre-terminated connector is fitted to a connector bulkhead within the panel or ODF and the un-terminated end can then be prepared and fusion spliced to the incomming cable.
Tip: All fibre connections should be cleaned before installation. We recommend CLETOP fibre cleaner. See related Products below.
